Frederick (Sonny) Blake Jr. (MLA Mackenzie Delta) served as the Chief and Mayor of Tsiigehtchic for two terms from 2007 to 2011. Since becoming an MLA in 2011 he has served as Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on Economic Development and Infrastructure.
